PROJECT MANAGER POSITION

Job Summary

 

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of assigned commercial projects from commencement to completion. You will manage these projects in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations and will assist the Manager in multiple facets of each project.

 

Job Responsibilities
 

  • Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting

  • Develop and administer job contracts

  • Establish, update and communicate project schedule and manage its implementation

  • Manage and oversee field operation, engineering and safety processes and procedures

  • Work with Accounting to initiate customer invoicing and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner

  • Keep necessary parties informed on progress of project and budget through scheduled status and project meetings

  • Manage all closeout procedures

  • Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvements
     

Project Manager Requirements and Qualifications
 

  • 5-10 years field experience as an Electrician

  • 2 years successful electrical PM experience

  • Prior experience in electrical estimating

  • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, AUTO CAD drawings, specification, scopes of work and project schedule

  • AUTO CAD experience a plus
